Wait, is BUIDLBoston in Boston or Online?

It's both...

There are two tracks - the first is in Boston, where the local community will have a chance to connect. The second is an online track where everyone is free to join.

  1. Apply to Join us in Boston
  2. Apply to Join BUIDLBoston-Online

Is BUIDLBoston just for "hackers"?

In blockchain, everyone's a "hacker" - it's simply BUIDL-MEASURE-LEARN

While we encourage developers with or without blockchain experience to join, we believe that inclusion and diversity are necessary to get this technology to where it needs to go. We are looking for students, professionals and anyone curious to learn more about the space. If that sounds like you - join us!

What are the prizes?

As of now, we have secured at least $20,000 worth of prizes for participants.

The prize list is still rolling as we're onboarding some last minute sponsors, but visit our resources page to learn the prize structure

How much does it cost to participate?

Nothing. It's free for participants - but you will need to commit to showing up!

And... there is an application process - we have a limited number of spots and want to make the most of each one.

What are Sustainable Development Goals?

The Sustainable Development Goals are a collection of 17 global goals set by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015 for the year 2030.

We have chosen 6 of them:

  1. Quality Education
  2. Gender Equality
  3. Decent Work and Economic Growth
  4. Reduced Inequalities
  5. Climate Action
  6. Life Below Water

We believe blockchain can help solve some of these problems, do you?
